My name is Ilyas, and I'm a passionate invertebrate breeder and lifelong enthusiast. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the world of invertebrates their diversity, behavior, and sheer uniqueness.

I started breeding invertebrates around 8 years ago, and what began as a hobby has grown into something much more: a deep rooted passion and a big part of who I am today.

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with both common and undescribed species. I’ve even gone on expeditions to various countries, where I’ve had the chance to observe invertebrates in their natural habitats and bring some new species into captive culture.

The purpose of this store is to inspire more people to get involved with breeding insects, to share my personal observations, and to help fund research in areas of the world that remain largely unexplored when it comes to invertebrate biodiversity.

At Ilyas Insects, I believe in responsible and sustainable insect keeping. That’s why I focus on captive breeding rather than relying on wild caught specimens. By breeding invertebrates in controlled environments, we reduce pressure on wild populations and help ensure that these fascinating species can be appreciated without harming their natural ecosystems.

Every animal is bred in house with great care and attention to detail, providing optimal conditions that prioritize health, welfare, and long term sustainability
