Cubaris sp. “White Head Ducky”
is a visually striking member of the Cubaris genus, closely related to Cubaris sp. “Rubber Ducky”. This morph is distinguished by its pale, almost white facial region, contrasting with a darker body. Like other cave-dwelling Cubaris, it requires stable, high-humidity conditions and careful long-term maintenance.
These isopods are small, slow-growing, and environmentally sensitive, best suited for experienced keepers familiar with tropical microhabitats.

Humidity: High (85–90%); maintain consistent moisture with minimal airflow and high enclosure stability
Diet: Decaying leaves, soft vegetables, protein-rich food (e.g. shrimp pellets), and calcium (limestone recommended)
Behavior: Reclusive, fossorial, prefers tight spaces and undisturbed conditions
Temperature: 22–25 °C
