Porcellio bolivari “Lemonade”
is a striking color morph of P. bolivari, recognized for its soft yellow tones and characteristic wide body and long uropods. Known for both its size and coloration, the “Lemonade” morph stands out in any collection focused on Mediterranean isopods.
These isopods are large, bold, and moderately sensitive to poor airflow, best suited for keepers experienced with dry-climate species.
Environment: Mediterranean-style enclosure with cork bark, rocks, and dry leaf litter
Humidity: Low to moderate; maintain a mostly dry setup with a moist retreat corner
Diet: Decaying leaves, soft wood, protein-rich foods (e.g. fish flakes), and calcium sources
Behavior: Active, often seen on the surface, appreciates space and good ventilation
Temperature: 20–26 °C
