Porcellio hoffmannseggii “Yeti”

is a striking morph of P. hoffmannseggi, known for its pale, almost white coloration combined with the species’ characteristically large, heavily armored body and pronounced uropods. The “Yeti” morph stands out for its visual contrast and imposing size, making it a standout in any isopod collection.

These isopods are very large, bold, and sensitive to poor airflow, best suited for experienced keepers with well-ventilated enclosures.

Environment: Mediterranean-style setup with cork bark, rocks, and dry leaf litter
Humidity: Low to moderate; maintain a dry enclosure with a moist corner for hydration
Diet: Decaying leaves, wood, fish flakes or other protein, and calcium supplements
Behavior: Often visible, active, appreciates horizontal space and airflow
Temperature: 20–26 °C
