Porcellio werneri "Silverback"

This unique Porcellio werneri variant — known as ‘Silverback’ — features a distinct silver-white stripe down the center of its body. This trait originates from a separate wild population in Greece, different from the standard grey forms.

All individuals are captive bred in our own collection under ideal conditions.

• Environment: Prefers drier substrate with plenty of airflow
• Diet: Decaying leaves, rotting wood, fish flakes, and calcium supplements (e.g. cuttlebone, limestone)
• Behavior: Active, bold, and visually impressive
• Recommended setup: Semi-arid enclosures or dedicated isopod terrariums
• Humidity: Keep the setup primarily dry, but maintain one fifth of the enclosure moist with moss.

Each group contains a mix of ages and sizes for optimal colony establishment
