Enclosure

• Use a well-ventilated enclosure (mesh or cross-ventilated plastic)
• Prioritize airflow over humidity retention
• Height: at least 2–3× body length
• Provide thin branches, twigs, and vertical stems

Temperature & Humidity

Daytime

• Temperature: 22–28°C (75–82°F)
• Humidity: 40–60% RH

Nighttime

• Temperature: 18–22°C (64–72°F)
• Humidity: slight increase to 50–70% RH

Notes:

• Good ventilation is more important than high humidity
• Avoid stagnant air conditions

Hydration

• Light misting 1× per day
• Provide droplets on leaves for drinking
• Allow enclosure to dry between mistings

Do not keep constantly wet, as this can cause stress and health issues.

Feeding

This species is strictly herbivorous.

Recommended diet:

• Bramble (Rubus spp.)
• Rose leaves
• Oak
• Raspberry
• Other pesticide-free shrubs

Behavior & Housing

• Calm, slow-moving species
• Relies heavily on camouflage
• Can be kept in small groups if:
