Troglodillo sp. ‘Green Spot’
is a breathtaking isopod species prized for its iridescent green spots on a dark base. Highly sought after by advanced collectors, it is a cave-dwelling Troglodillo that requires meticulous care and environmental stability.

These isopods are medium-sized, secretive, and highly specialized, suitable only for experienced keepers familiar with microhabitat management.

Environment: Gasket-sealed container or small aquarium with tight lid; include cork bark, branches, leaf litter, and crevices for shelter 
Humidity: High (75–90%), with a steep moisture gradient—about 70% moist, remainder slightly dry
Diet: Leaf litter, decaying wood, supplemented twice weekly with root veggies (yam, carrot), fish flakes, squash, radish, protein (freeze-dried shrimp/minnows), and calcium (cuttlebone or mineral rock)
Behavior: Primarily nocturnal, shy, and prefers moist microhabitats under bark or leaf litter; thrives in stable colonies
Temperature: 20–28 °C
