Troglodillo sp. ‘Vex’

is a breathtaking isopod species known for its cave-dwelling adaptations, including reduced pigmentation and smaller eyes. Its ghostly appearance and rarity make it a prized species for advanced collectors.

These isopods are big, secretive, and highly specialized, requiring stable, humid environments to thrive. They are not recommended for beginners due to their sensitivity to disturbance and enclosure fluctuations.

Environment: Dark, humid setup with deep leaf litter, bark, and crevices
Humidity: Moderately high; keep substrate moist with dry patches for airflow
Diet: Decaying organic matter, soft vegetables, fish flakes, and calcium sources
Behavior: Shy, reclusive, prefers staying hidden in moist microhabitats
Temperature: 20–26 °C
